The Lady Aurora shines her light over highway 28 heading into Cold Lake. Okay, so it’s snow and not sand but with this much snow on the ground, there is definitely a cool wind in my hair. It’s always a challenge to stay warm, but the adrenaline that courses through my body makes me barely aware of any physical discomfort. I love it when the sky turns a rich purple in contrast to the green band of the Aurora.
